Sometimes life is a strange octopus.

Maybe:
We were in a crystal of ice together, a crystal of ice which sat upon a barren planet and when you looked into this crystal you could see us refracted 1,000 times. Everyone who knows us and who we know and who thought of us and who we thought of simultaneously gazed at the crystal, and when they all simultaneously blinked the ice crystal and Genghis Keoon and Shaka-le-Beaux would cease to exist, but when everyone opened their eyes simultaneously it would make such a noise and we would pop back into existence. And eventually all of the eyes gazing upon the ice crystal merged as one giant, beautiful, kind eye and this eye changed into the sun! And when the sun gazed upon the crystal of ice which we were in, it melted and we turned into a puddle, or maybe a pond, its hard to tell the difference, but anyway, this puddle gave life to the barren planet, and trees, and amoebas, and an atmosphere, and flowers and a breeze so deep it brought bone shaking love.
This breeze was contagious and it brought wind to all the vocal chords of all the animals of the planet and they sang a sound which brought a billion flowers sprouting in fast motion to the planet. And there was one strange octopus which looked on in suspense of what would happen next. When Genghis Keoon and Shaka-le-Beaux witnessed this they knew that they needed to move to Mason, Michigan, live together, and make music together.
